Debtor deceased.

Note: This code cannot be used in certain SEPA countries for data protection reasons. In that case AC06 or MS03 can be used as an alternative.

Possible root cause

The debtor has (probably) died.

What can you do?

In this case the mandate is automatically suspended. Carefully contact the next of kin to check whether the contract - mandate should be transferred to someone else. Attention: our many years of experience with codes show that this information from the bank is NOT always 100% correct. Some caution is therefore indicated in this sensitive matter.
